Chapter 15. Final Profile Review

Before you finish, review your profile strategically.

Ask:

Can someone understand what I do within 10 seconds?

Does my headline include relevant search terms?

Does my About section clearly position me?

Do my career entries show scope and impact?

Are my skills aligned to target roles?

Is my industry selection supporting my direction?

Have I removed vague or outdated language?

Does my profile feel professional, clear and current?

Then do one more check:

Would I contact this person if I were recruiting for my target role? If the answer is no, go back and strengthen clarity, alignment and evidence.

A strong LinkedIn profile does not need to say everything, it needs to say the right things clearly enough for the right people to find you, understand you and contact you.
